FIRE/LAND, Act II: Burn Scar

Myrtle Tree Arts holding space for L.A.'s fires, victims and burn scars.

With respect and compassion for our SoCal friends still burning and sifting through the ruins, we are re-posting some videos from our 2023 Art Rock Opera FIRE/LAND: Knowing the Territory, Act II, Scene I presents Burn Scar, an elegy to the forest and the impacts of historic wildfire in the West, from the 1910 "Big Burn" in Montana and Idaho, up to the 2021 Caldor Fire and 2022 Mosquito Fire in El Dorado County, CA. FIRE/LAND aims to offer healing, hope, and restoration around the grief and impacts of wildfire and climate crises in our communities.
